Custom apps for business

Mobile app development for businesses that currently run on phone calls, spreadsheets and messaging apps. Android and iOS from one codebase.

A lot of business apps only cover the customer side. The staff carry on with paper, and the system never really replaces anything. We build both halves: the app your customers order or book through, and the app your team uses to handle what comes in.

Web development

The web work we take on usually has money or stock moving through it. Ordering, invoicing, dispatch, reporting. So the database design gets as much attention as the interface does. Most of the expensive problems we get called in to fix started as a schema that did not match how the business actually worked.

Timeline: Usually 4 to 12 weeks, depending on how much the system has to do.

Shopify & WooCommerce

Shopify and WooCommerce development: building stores, fixing slow ones, and migrating off the platform when it stops paying for itself.

Both platforms are fine until they aren't. WooCommerce gets slow as plugins pile up. Shopify takes a cut of every order and locks the parts you most want to change.

AWS and cloud infrastructure

AWS consulting and cloud infrastructure: setting it up, migrating onto it, and working out why the bill went up.

AWS has a service for everything and no opinion about which ones you need. Accounts drift. Instances stay sized for a launch that never came, volumes sit attached to nothing, and the bill grows faster than the business does.

Timeline: A cost and security review takes about a week. A full setup or migration, 2 to 6 weeks.

Servers & IT support

Server management and IT support: provisioning, deploys, backups and monitoring. The part most development companies will not take on.

When the developer won't touch the server, every outage turns into an argument about whose fault it is. We take both sides, so there is nothing to argue about.

Timeline: Initial setup takes a few days. Maintenance is monthly and ongoing.
